MISSION STATEMENT
In the name of Christ, we are committed to making a significant difference through Him, by Him, in Him, in the lives of women and children in poverty in our community and in the world.
VISION STATEMENT
Being a Christ-centered women’s organization working in partnership with each other and with the people we serve, we seek to make a significant difference in the lives of others as we grow in Christ.
GOALS
- Deepen our commitment to Christ
- Promote and increase awareness of World Vision and its international mission of relief and development, working with the poor in the name of Christ
- Educate ourselves and others about the condition of women and children in poverty
- Strengthen committed partnership within the organization working to increase diversity
- Make a significant difference in the lives of women and children in poverty as we work together in partnership with World Vision internationally, Women of Vision nationally, each other locally, people we serve globally, and with all other organizations.
“I want you to get out there and walk – better yet, run – on the road God called you to travel. You were all called to travel on the same road and in the same direction, so stay together. But that doesn’t mean you should all look and speak and act the same. Out of the generosity of Christ, each of us is given his/her own gift.”
Eugene Peterson’s paraphrase of “The Message.”
