Child Sponsorship

Child Sponsorship is the foundation on which World Vision was built. More than a million people around the world are committed to the Sponsorship program. It is a unique way to share dignity and the love of Christ in tangible, life-changing ways with a needy child.

Our members sponsor a total of 275 children in Mali, Ethiopia (Boset & Wonchi ADP), and Guatemala (Cotz ij ya ADP), providing monthly financial support, transforming the lives of the children and their families by giving them the comfort of knowing that someone cares through the provision of their basic needs.  There are 5 basic provisions that are met through a sponsor’s commitment. They are: 1) Clean water, 2) Primary health care, 3) Food security, 4) Education & literacy, and 5) Economic development.

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

                                                                                    Matthew 6: 19-21

Hope children are children living in communities severely affected by HIV/AIDS. As AIDS steals the lives of more and more adults, children are left to toil alone for food, shelter, and survival.

You can make a difference, SPONSOR A CHILD.

As a World Vision child sponsor, you are connected with one special child who will have a brighter future. It is a long-term relationship built on love and faithfulness. You are a very important person in your child’s life.

“In the village hungry children wait. While across the world the fortunate debate. We never should have waited to decide their fate. In the village wooden coffins await”
