 6,000 Steps for 6,000 Orphans ...

6,000 children are orphaned by AIDS every day

HIV/AIDS is devastating communities around the world—and children are suffering the most. But now you can do something to help, and it’s as simple as taking a walk.

The average person can walk 6,000 steps in about one hour. But the assistance provided by your participation in World Vision’s 6,000 Steps: AIDS Walk for Orphans can bring about a lifetime of change for a child in need. Please join with participants in your community and all around the country to make a difference on World AIDS Day, November 22nd.

Through your personal fundraising Web page, you can invite family, friends, and colleagues to support you with a tax-deductible donation as you walk 6,000 steps on behalf of the 6,000 children orphaned each day.
